1920s-30s Henderson Bagpipes
This set of fully ivory mounted Henderson pipes was made somewhere in between WW1 and WW2. In the sound department this set has a rich robust tone with a deep bass and nice tenor harmonic overtones. It locks in and is rock-steady.
Made from African Blackwood, this set is in great shape for its age, the only parts missing is the chanter stock which has a poly replacement at the moment, and the blowpipe which will be replaced by a matching wide bore poly blowpipe. The bass bottom joint appears to be ebony.
Set is sold as sticks and stocks, we can add any required accessories if needed.
No tax will be charged as they are a consignment set.
