McCallum Folk Pipes
Made by McCallum Bagpipes in Scotland The Folk Pipes have been designed to play along with other instruments, allowing the piper to use a blowing and bag pressure technique as they would with the Highland pipes. The low A note on the chanter is tuned to concert pitch A (440Hz) which means that the pipes will naturally play in the keys used by other musicians when playing traditional/folk music. Available in Plain Poly or Blackwood with mopani and alloy mounts. The pipes come set-up, ready to play with black bag cover and cords, a zippered Canmore bag, moisture control system, cane chanter reed and MG Reeds synthetic drone reeds.
Available in poly or African Blackwood, and with the option of engraved ferrules and mouthpiece.
