Return Policy

We want you to be happy with your new items, so please let us know right away if you need to return any part of your purchase. We will work with you to make the process as simple as possible.

Special Case: Defective, Damaged or Wrong Item Returns

If an item is damaged when it arrives or is not what you ordered, let us know immediately, and we will remedy the situation. We will send a replacement item right away and help you to make the return by covering the cost of return shipping.

Once you have received the replacement item, please return the broken or mistaken item within 30 days from the date of the invoice supplied to avoid additional charges.

Jackets, Vests, and Ghillie Brogue Exchanges

We offer free exchanges for these items. Contact us if your jacket, vest, or ghillie size does not fit. We will ship the replacement size of the same or similar item, with no charge for shipping, once we receive the returned item. 

Standard Returns & Exchanges

Returns must be made within 30 days of invoice date, and all must be in "like new" condition, please. If we receive items that are not in "like new" condition, we will return them to the customer. Exchanges will be made for the same or similar item in a different size or color. If you need the new item immediately, the fastest procedure is to return the item that did not work out for a refund and to purchase another version online.

Step 1: Contact Us

To arrange for a return, please call 1-250-585-6272 or email sales@islandbagpipe.com as soon as possible. You can also login to your account online, view previous orders, and request an RMA for the item you wish to return.  This ensures that we know from whom a return is being received and allows us to prepare your credit or exchange paperwork in advance. Then we can most quickly process the return for you.

The shipping cost of returning merchandise for refund or exchange is the responsibility of the purchaser. Mail and UPS are generally the most affordable return methods. For high value items, please make sure to add appropriate insurance, as the package is your responsibilty until it reaches us.

Step 3: Refund or Exchange

Once your return is received, we will work quickly to process it.

Refund: We will refund the price paid for your returned item using the original payment method. So, if you purchased the item on a credit card, we will refund the same card. You will receive an email indicating that your card has been refunded.

Exchange: We will send the item variation you requested via Canada Post. We will cover the shipping this replacement item for you.
